Deep Creek Outfitters is proud to offer highly skilled and experienced guides, who have a lifetime of hunting experience, which has helped them develop the skills and experience necessary to enable our clients to consistently harvest trophy class game animals. Our guides have an accumulation of 90+ years of guiding experience. All of our guides were born and raised hunting the areas we operate in, providing them with a working knowledge of the terrain, game animal habits, routs of travel, and migration patterns. These are necessary ingredients of a quality guide, who consistently produces results. We also have well trained and experienced hounds, gentle saddle and pack horses. We provide top quality well set up and maintained base camps with heated self-contained camp trailers for your comfort and convenience while hunting. Our guides, pack horses, saddle horses, and hounds work with you on our guided hunts to provide you with one of the most memorable hunting experiences of your life.

Ron Leavitt is the Master Guide at Deep Creek Outfitters. He has hunted Mule Deer for 28 years, Elk for 21 years, and Mountain Lions for 20 years. His love of hunting has taken him Elk, Bear, Mule deer and Mountain Lion hunting in Utah; Mule deer, game birds, boar, and Mountain Lion hunting in Arizona; Bear hunting in Idaho; and then to Alaska twice for Caribou, Moose and fishing. Out of all of the hunts, he has been on, he has loved the thrill of Mountain Lion hunting the best. There is nothing better than having his dogs hot on a scent of a lion. Over the years, Ron has acquired a great group of hound dogs. They are very well trained and have proven numerous times their ability to bring down lions. Ron is very excited about Deep Creek Outfitters, and is looking forward to working with the hunters to bring them the very best hunt possible.

Boyd Wittwer has hunted about as long as Ron. He has proviously been a Master Guide in Nevada for 12 years, bringing invaluable experience with him to Deep Creek Outfitters. He is very knowledgable of all the areas that we hunt, and can guarantee that you will have a hunt that you'll never forget.

Jeremy Woods has hunted in Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona. He has years of experience working with hound dogs and horses. His broad hunting experience makes him a great guide for Deep Creek Outfitters.

Mike Woods comes from a family with a strong tradition of hunting. He has enjoyed hunting Mule Deer, Elk, and Mountain Lions. Deep Creek Outfitters is excited to have Mike as a guide and he is anxious to start hunting.
