Deep Creek Outfitters is a professionally licensed and insured outfitter in both Nevada and Utah, specializing in top quality guided hunts. We cater to all of the avid hunters' needs. We offer hunts for Mule Deer, Elk, Rio Grande Turkey, and Black Bear, and Antelope, but we specialize in Mountain Lion. Because of the difficulty in securing, a hunting permit for Mule Deer or Elk in Nevada, these hunts provide for an excellent opportunity to harvest a top quality trophy class animal. Black Bear, Rio Grande Turkey, and Antelope permits, are also limited to a "Draw Tag" basis is Southern Utah, offering the same type opportunity of harvesting quality class game. Mountain Lion tags can be purchased over the counter for both Nevada and Utah. You will be hunting amongst the spectacular multi-colored sandstone Bluffs, Canyons, and Nartural beauty of Southern Utah's famous "Color Country", and the rugged pristine beauty of the "Silver State" for a hunting experience of a lifetime.

We have put together what we consider to be the finest string of saddle and pack horses available. All of our horses are gentle, and very experienced in the important role that they play in the success of our operation. We also have a pack of hounds that we are extremely proud of. Over the last 25 years, we have worked extremely hard to develop a line of hounds that can, and do, consistently tree Mountain Lion and Black Bear here on dry ground.

We hunt extremely hard and do our best to insure you a successful hunt. There are several options made available to you on your hunt including all terrain vehicles, horseback riding, 4-wheel drive vehicles, and on foot, depending on the terrain and current weather conditions. We offer both guided one-on-one hunts, and unguided "spike camp" type hunts for the person or group who wants to go it alone.

All Deep Creek Outfitters base camps are well constructed, neat and clean, with heated camp trailers for your comfort and convenience. Our clients well be treated to some of the finest "Dutch Oven" cooked meals available anywhere. The "Dutch Oven" was the preferred method of cooking in the Old West, and if you have not tasted food prepared in a "Dutch Oven, you have not tasted True Old West cuisine. Meals are served around the campfire, where a lively discussion of past hunts, area folk lure, and past outdoor experiences usually ensues, making for a uniquely western experience.
